Bryn Mawr College is located 11 miles west of Philadelphia on
a beautiful, 135.5 acre campus in Montgomery County. As one of the
Seven Sisters, Bryn Mawr has a long-standing history as one of the
country's top institutions for higher learning, particularly in
the natural sciences and mathematics.
Bryn Mawr's buildings are truly original in their adaptation of
Jacobean Gothic and possess romance and charm. There are physical
sciences, psychology and anthropology buildings. The College also
has language laboratories, a computer center housing over 100 microcomputers
and a wide selection of educational software. There are also physical
education facilities consisting of a gymnasium with an eight-lane
pool, a weight room, tennis courts and playing fields, all on one
of the most beautiful college campuses in the East. Archaeology
and anthropology collections, as well as extensive rare book collections,
are housed on campus.
