Living Structure and Supervision
Students live in dormitory groups of approximately 10-14 same age and gender students under the direct supervision of a Counselor. Students spend most of their free and recreational time with their Counselor Group.

Counselor Groups eat together during mealtime in the dining hall, and participate in group and teambuilding activities at least once a week.

Three to four Counselor Groups are combined together to form a SIG house, which is supervised by both a Resident Assistant and a Housemaster.

All Housemasters report directly to the Residential Dean, who is responsible for the overall organization of the session’s residential programming.

Daily Schedule
Students attend class Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. with a break for lunch at 1:00 p.m. Students have a break from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. for the Recreational Hour. Afterwards, they have dinner, go to evening tutorial, attend the scheduled evening program, enjoy a social hour at the snack bar, and return to their dormitory for Residential Time, at which point they get ready for bed. Lights out for juniors (grades 4-6) is 10:00 p.m., and for seniors (grades 7-11), it is 11:00 p.m.

Dining and Meals
Meals are served buffet-style in the college dining halls on campus.

Dress Policy
Except for the final dance, dress on campus is casual. Students may wear shorts, T-shirts, or other casual clothes that are neat, clean and appropriate. Shoes are required at meals, classes, and other program events.

Spending Money
Students will need limited funds for incidentals, such as laundry, snacks and supplies. Automatic teller machines are available on most of the campuses for student use.
