| SIG-Residential Programs |
Central to the SIG-Residential Program is the idea that by living
where they learn, students become part of a community of like-minded
young people and adults. These students are committed to academic
excellence, social and emotional growth, and creative and recreational
excitement. Crucial to this stimulating environment is the inclusion
of students who share similar abilities, interests, commitments,
and talents. Here students learn responsibility, self-motivation,
community participation, and respect for others. |
| Host Campuses |
The Summer Institute for the Gifted-Residential Program is held
at some of the most beautiful and prestigious campuses in the United
States. Each campus is cafefully selected based on its academic
facility, its outstanding educational reputation, and its capability
and willingness to serve and assist with the accomplishment of SIG's
goals and purposes.
